Kodak announced that its 40MP KAF-40000 CCD is used in the newly launched Pentax 645D medium format DSLR. The 40MP CCD is based on 6um pixels and said to have 1.7 times larger area than 35mm DSLR sensors.

On a strange whim, I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago. It seems unexpectedly robust for a Holga. And there's the benefit of 35mm film, albeit at the loss of the wonderful 6x6/6x4.5 format.
