Olympus has today released updated firmware for its E-P1 Micro Four Thirds digital camera. The update brings the Olympus P1 camera body to firmware version 1.3, and includes all changes made in the previous v1.1 and v1.2 releases. Sony is showing off several new camera and lens concepts at PMA. One that's not entirely surprising is a compact interchangeable lens camera similar to the Olympus E-P1 and Panasonic GF1 (the other manufacturers are not going to let those two companies have this market all to themselves!). Also shown are a replacement for the DSLR-A700 (finally) and a lower end model, both with HD video....
