Olympus has released a firmware update for the Olympus E-P1. Version 1.2 addresses the following: Reduced time of the MF ASSIST enlarged display to improve operability. REC VIEW enabled when the monitor’s backlight is set to off. Olympus and Panasonic are pleased to announce firmware updates for the five Panasonic Micro Four Thirds Lenses that will improve their performance with Micro Four Thirds cameras. This update, Olympus Master 2.3, allows the development of E-P2 RAW files using the Diorama and Cross Process Art Filters and iEnhance picture mode using the Windows 7 and Mac OS X v 10.16 (Snow Leopard) Operating Systems. Olympus E-P1 Imaging Resource has reviewed the Olympus E-P1 digital camera. The E-P1 is the first Micro Four Thirds camera from Olympus so it will be interesting to see what the reviewer thinks about it.
